No matter the location, monkeys and circus themes remained a design staple of the iconic restaurant. Although the landmark restaurant's NYC doors are now closed, Black Rock Galleries is pleased to offer items from the famed restaurant.
Set of 12 oval porcelain plates designed by Adam D. Tihany for Le Cirque and made by Villeroy & Boch. The plates with yellow circus big top flying red flags and scattered colorful balls with double blue trim. Marked on verso "Custom Designed by Adam D. Tihany for Le Cirque"; Villeroy & Boch, Luxembourg.
Dimensions: 11" x 8 1/2" x 7/8"
Condition: service and glaze wear consistent with repeated restaurant use.
