This is a small pair of antique pistachio nutcrackers. An English, brass hand tool, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800. Charmingly diminutive with appealing Georgian craftsmanship Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order commensurate with age Quality brass presents light golden tones throughout Accentuated with small foliate engravings and concentric banding Notched grooves to the cracking plate aid purchase on the nut This is a delightful pair of antique nutcrackers, with a charming decorative finish and great colour.
