About the Item
I rarely purchase pieces that I don't know the purpose of, but this piece was purchased with some wine accessories. it's a beautiful piece and while it looks like a pepper mill, it definitely is not.
One theory is one puts their wine cork into the hole and taps it a few times making it smaller on one end so it goes back into the bottle easier?
the piece has a beautiful patina and makes a great decorative piece. for any kitchen with great style
