Wooden Decoy Duck on Stand, circa 1910
About the Item
Beautiful early 20th century French decoy duck. Hand carved in wood and hand painted, the decoy has a movable head that can be turned left or right, it is also mounted on a long iron pole which allowed it to be easily pushed into the ground wherever it was required to be.
It has been mounted on a wooden base for display, but it is possible to detach the iron rod from the base should you wish to.
Total Height 69cm x width 25cm. Duck width 7.5cm. Base is 20cm square.
