Large Early Folk Art Lincoln

About the Item

The wood carving on this life-size Lincoln is amazing with a beautiful patina. It came out of a good Connecticut Folk Art collection. The body is primitive and was made to be covered in fabric. In fact there are tiny pieces of the original fabric still there. I'm guessing this is mid-1800s. The head is carved from a single log.
