Purple with Yellow African Ewe Kente Cloth Textile, Midcentury

About the Item

This African Men's Ewe Kente cloth has a light aubergine purple background with highlights of orange, yellow, light green, light blue and dark blue amongst other colors. It is a very royal weaving in that it has a lot of figures woven into it. There are birds, plants, geometric forms, and hands. This particular cloth is very complex and has a lot of special design in it, it was definitely a very prestigious textile.
