We are proud to offer a unique folk-art hand-crafted example of a seashell diorama. Displayed in a hand carved wooden frame behind its original glass case. With a poem insert named “Ocean Flowers” signed in pencil Aug 29th, 1882, and Guernsey. Filled with sea plants and wonderful selection of shells. This wall mounted display would look wonderful in a country house setting. A complete one-off piece of nautical Folk Art in completely untouched form and original condition.

Completely solid in structure and form, this authentic example 100 years old. The Age and use are reflected in the condition. Fading in areas as shown, all detail is firmly in place. A rare survivor in overall good condition for its age.
