About the Item

American maritime copper and brass deep sea divers helmet with the original three glass cross hatched windows, latching bonnet, air line intake with hose, and exterior mounted rear ventilator, Early 20th century. Helmet has been electrified on a stand for display. Crafts weld Equipment Corporation was established in 1927 by Charles Kandel. The Corporation produced equipment for welding , cutting, and diving underwater. They were located on Long Island City, New York.
