An early 19th century British/Irish provincial school oil on canvas painting Three Quarter Length Portrait of a Naval Officer, possibly Lieutenant Henry Anderson, housed within a gilt frame that has been over gilded within its lifetime. Provenance: family descent from Lieutenant-General Paul Anderson and then Formerly at Grace Dieu, Waterford. Age related craquelure to the painted surface, with the very minor loss to one edge. 30/28/3cm
