Yacht Helm By Brooke Yachts Of Lowestoft

About the Item

Early twentieth century six spoke ships wheel with turned spindles. Heavy brass hub is engraved "Brooke-Lowestoft". The Brooke Shipyard was open from 1874 to 1992. This wheel dates to about 1900. Two heavy brass trim rings add strength. Missing one handle where the rope hanger is. Great old wheel. Circa 1900.
