About the Item

19th century bamboo and chinoiserie sewing stand A unique double lift top sewing stand with chinoiserie panels and bamboo construction. The top is designed with two lifting doors with hardware revealing a tufted lined interior. Nice top handle. Below, a shelf and gallery. Wonderful aged patina and color. Very functional.
