20th Century Oil on Board Italian Signed Landscape Painting, 1940
About the Item
Italian painting from the first half of the 20th century. Oil artwork on pressed wooden panel depicting a landscape in Macchiaiolo style, Sunset in the countryside of good pictorial quality. Painting that develops horizontally, a material framework characterized by intense colors. Non-coeval frame in carved and gilded wood with canvas passe-partout which has some small marks (see photo). Artwork signed F. Rontini on the bottom right (see photo) referable to the famous painter Ferruccio Rontini (1893-1964), lacking authentication. Painting of beautiful size and proportion, easily placed in different parts of the house, for antique dealers, interior designers and collectors. In good condition. Sight size H 41 x W 61 cm.
