Aharon Bezalel Solid Brass Sculpture

About the Item

This is a rare and great example of Aharon Bezalels beautiful and evocative work. Aharon Bezalel lived and worked in Jerusalem. He studied carving and sculpture with the artists Martin Rost and Zeev Ben Tzvi at the Bezalel Academy for Arts and Design. In 1950 he founded the arts department at the Seligsberg Vocational School in Jerusalem where he taught for twenty years. This piece is signed and numbered 73.
