About the Item
Concave shaped carving, this unique piece can rest flat on a surface or hang ( it has 2 original attached rings on the back for hanging) . The whimsical carving defies conventional descriptive terms, there does appear to be foliate and grapes in several locations. The high relief of this work is remarkable and well done with a beautiful aged color and patina.
