About the Item
Pista is an interactive object, with a cantilevered base that allows the ball to run in circles along the oblong path, according to the touches received at the ends of the piece.
Each piece is obtained from a solid wooden plank, and receives a glass ball, which, in addition to contrasting the texture, reveals the sound of the contact between the materials.
Resulting from a reflection on the influence of toys in the formation of relationships between man and object, Pista proposes an escape from everyday life through a simple and intuitive experience, which, as in a game, establishes a playful parallel to the present.
