Early 20th century metal hanging amulet from native culture in Brazil. Known as 'Penca de Balangadas' was used in the ancient times as an amulet by the scale population in Brazil.
Made in Brazil by unknown artist, circa 1890.
In original condition, wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
