Very large Elongated Tribal Fang Mask Gabon Wall Hanging Tribal Mask
About the Item
A wonderful, very large elongated Tribal fang mask from Gabon.
Hand carved and hand painted using tempura paint.
Used in ceremonies, the mask has very nice detail to it and makes a striking wall hanging.
Holes to the edge of the mask would originally have been used for attaching a headress.
A wonderful impressive tribal mask of great proportions.
Dates from the first half of the 20th century.
