19th Century Cornelius and Company Rococco Revival Six Light Chandelier

About the Item

A period, rare and very impressive 19th century American Victorian gilt bronze Rococo Revival six-arm gas chandelier by, Cornelius & Baker, Philadelphia, PA which has been electrified and is highly decorated with mythological figures cast figures on the arms and further embellished with an ornate ceiling canopy original to the chandelier further decorated with six matching etched glass shades. The chandelier is an outstanding example of quality and presents very well reflecting period 19th century American lighting., circa 1860s.
