Rare Italian bronze pendant with a marbled glass, globe shade.
This rare pendant with a double sided bronze Trinacria symbol could be the perfect light fixture for a born Sicilian / Italian. The word Trinacria means triangle and it refers to the shape of the Italian island of Sicily. The Trinacria symbol is the head of Medusa (a gorgon with a head of snakes), surrounded by 3 running legs that are bent at the knees. The symbol in Mythology has more meanings and it is also in the center of the Sicilan flag. Because of the beauty, the uniqueness and the symbolism with its deeper meaning, we expect this quality light fixture to be picked up soon by a Sicilian somewhere in the world.
