This outstanding and highly stylish chandelier originates from early twentieth century France and to have found it in this superb condition again felt like a blessing. The perfectly polished alabaster bowl has no cracks or chips at all and it is as firm and strong as the day it was hand carved all those decades ago. Especially with the light shining through it this perfectly polished alabaster shade is of a beauty that cannot be captured in a photo. Our interior designer clients always tell us that these pendants are even more beautiful in real life than in our images. And they are right. Combined with the perfect condition, art glass shades this French (or possibly Viennese) antique creates an atmosphere that is second to none. The nickel plated bronze rose sculptures in both the 'chains' and the decorative brackets underneath each arm, make this antique work of lighting art even more special.
