Art Deco Skyscraper Style Chandelier in Silvered Bronze & Frosted Glass by Hugue
About the Item
This rare and special Art Deco chandelier features six frosted relief glass panels with a center coupe all in a highly stylized Cubist geometric and floral motif ,all signed Hugue .The glass panels are fitted with a nickled bronze frame in a streamline Machine Age design frame with stylized geometric accents.. This chandelier exemplifies the Machine Age movements influence on the French Art Deco at its best. It is fitted with 7 candelabra bulbs so it can have as much as 420 watts of light. This exemplary chandelier has been newly rewired and the height can be adjusted to suit. It is in excellent vintage condition.
