Classicist Basket Chandelier silver in antique Empire Style brass hand crafted
About the Item
Finely chased and silver-plated bronze. Basket-shaped body made of hand-wired pearl cords with a leaf rosette and a pine knob at the end, connected by a wide, ornamental relief and openwork hoop, decorated with chased swans. Starting from this, six curved candlestick arms ending in vase-shaped spouts over round eaves bowls. Rich surrounding prismatic hangings. Double crown-shaped closure made of drop prisms. Inside 8x 27 socket, electrified.
The entire chandelier is made by hand in a very complex process.
The finely cut crystals, which contain 30% lead, refract and reflect the light through the hundredfold facets.
