Empire Eighteen-Light Bronze and Ormolu Chandelier
About the Item
Spectacular French early 19th century bronze and ormolu chandelier, the 12 scrolling arms molded with leaves and interspersed with six additional lights, the bronze body partially gilded and with gilt bobeches, stylized acanthus, garlands and flower heads, supported by six bronze chains to a crown-shaped canopy.
Originally purchased in New York, this chandelier is of a very high quality and certainly among the best we have offered in recent years.
