About the Item
French Tole and glass polychrome pastel flower cage pendant light, circa the 1950s.
Adorable cage-shaped pendant light fixture made of hand-painted metal in polychrome pastel tones, adorned with flowers and leaves. Single light with a frosted, hand-painted glass lampshade made and signed by Lemiere depicts an exotic bird sitting on a branch with blue berries; the other side features a branch with red berries.
Would look incredible in a hallway or porch, or over a small table, the pendant light looks beautiful as well lit as unlit.
One new socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb.
Dimensions: height: 70 cm / 27.56 in; diameter: 26.5 cm / 10.43 in.
In good condition with some signs of aging - slight color loss and patina, which underline the authenticity of this beautiful pendant light.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
