Beautiful shape and excellent condition antique pendant. This early 1930s leather pendant comes with a wrought iron chain and ceiling cap. The shape, the color and the effect of the light shining through the natural hide make this pendant a real joy to watch. The shade of this lamp is made of rawhide, an animal skin that has not been exposed to tanning which is why it is much lighter in color than leather. Rawhide is primarily made from the skin of buffalo, deer, elk and cattle and it is hardened/dried. This shade is dried also and with the light switched on it radiates a warm light to create a warm atmosphere in the space she is in. This rare pendant too is rewired for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well.
