About the Item

Stunning design and extraordinary size, near 22 inches in diameter antique alabaster light fixture. Thanks to its extra-large Size and truly timeless design this beautiful alabaster chandelier from the European Jugendstil era is bound to light up someone's days and evenings for a very long time. The striking black veins, but also many of the more translucent whiter veins and patches contrast even more when the light is switched on, because the already beautiful white alabaster then turns into a full moon like white. Many of our interior design clients have already received incredibly positive feedback from their clients after installing one of our antique alabaster lights. Thanks to its exceptional design combined with the large and matching design alabaster canopy, this three light chandelier will work perfectly in a dining room, a large entrance, a kitchen area or in a master bedroom. Its timeless design is truly pleasing to the eye and it will look great in all kinds of interiors, even in a contemporary one. The stunning shade had a clean break across the largest black vein which made it an easy repair and it is now again as strong and stable as it was when it was hand carved by a master craftsman well over 100 years ago. However, since this means that this wonderful fixture is no longer mint, we have dropped its price significantly. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade and canopy, because in real life (or in person) this antique alabaster fixture is even better looking than in any of our photos. You can, again, take our word for it. This work of beauty was hand carved from one solid rock of alabaster and looking at the stunning veins and more translucent patches they could not have picked a more perfect antique rock to carve it from. The stylish, matt black chains and the perfect matching and large alabaster canopy are like the icing on the cake of this timeless chandelier. This unique pendant too is professionally rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and thanks to the replacement chains we (or you) can also adjust the height to one that is perfect for you. This rare Size and great looking alabaster pendant can only be described as great value for money. Repaired: A clean break has been repaired with a special glue and this shade now is stronger than it ever was. Moreover, this stunning pendant now looks great again. Replacements made: Comes with a perfectly matching, matt black chain and twisted black thread wiring going up one of the chains. Wear consistent with age and use.
