Large size and great shape, early 20th century light fixture.
This perfectly handcrafted light fixture from 1910-1920 is another on of our recent great finds. The combination of the heavy and beautifully shaped oak beams and the hand forged, torch-like arms holding the lights is an absolute joy to look at. Both on and off this unique pendant brings quality, style and an atmosphere like no modern light ever could. Creating eight perfectly matching torches of this quality and detail was a talent that you no longer find amongst blacksmiths in this day and age. The stylized, flower-like motifs out of which the arms seem to grow and also the twirling motif moving down the torches are just some of the details that lift this chandelier to another level. The hand forged canopy and chain too are perfectly original and they make this chandelier very easy to mount. The size and shape of this impressive pendant make it ideal for hanging over a dining table in an Arts and Crafts home, but it would also work in a castle style, farmhouse or even a wine-bar or restaurant interior. No matter where you decide to use this stunning and sizable light fixture, its details and top quality workmanship will never fail to impress. Mind you, this large chandelier too will be perfectly rewired for safe and immediate usage in the United States as well.
