About the Item
A Holophane glass ceiling fixture is a type of lighting fixture that features a glass shade with a colorful design that refracts light to create a soft, diffused glow. The Holophane glass shade was first introduced in the late 19th century and quickly became popular due to its ability to reduce glare and distribute light evenly.

These fixtures are commonly found in public buildings, such as libraries and museums, as well as in residential settings. They come in various styles and sizes and can be used to add functional and decorative lighting to a space. These were never used old stock.
It can be 4 Fluorescence tubes or Large light Bulbs can be used for 500 watts.
Produced by Holophane, the preeminent name in commercial lighting since 1898, this 1940s-era Asymmetric double fixture has recently been inspected and rewired. It unique fixture features a company-made body that takes two different size shades made by holophane.
Its Industrial appearance looks great in lofts and lends a Machine Age counter-note to any stylish interior
