Italian 19th Century Giltwood and Crystal Chandelier
About the Item
A sensational and extremely elegant early 19th century Italian six arm giltwood, gilt metal and crystal chandelier. The chandelier with a top foliate crown has crystal beaded garlands and swags decorated by central hanging cut water drop crystals. The circular gilt metal band at the center has six 'S' scrolled arms with giltwood candle cups and saucers. At the center is a wonderful giltwood acanthus leaf spray and bottom finial all below a smaller scaled acanthus leaf urn. All decorated by crystal garlands.
