Italian Murano Glass Sphere by Ludovico Diaz de Santillana for Venini, 1980s
About the Item
Gorgeous large hand blown Murano pendant light using the highly skilled reticello technique of Venetian Glass Masters.
The color if the glass is shiny white.
The pendant glass is suspended from the ceiling with architectural wire, which is fixed on the side in the glass and thus leaves the glass ball in an inclined position.
Inside the big opening, hold by a particular device in brass, is the bulb holder for one Standard Edison bulb.
The pendant is in very good vintage and working, original condition with the original ceiling rose.
We have just exchanged the steel cable with a new one for secure hanging.
Diameter of the glass globe 40cm/ 15,8inch.
The total drop height to ceiling is 120cm / 47,3inch - the height can be shortened on request.
Ready for mounting to 110V as well as 220/240V.
