Large chandelier with eight lamps in gold and copper leaf iron thread and resin composite by COUTANT. The piece is signed.
Only two copies of this chandelier were made for the restaurant.
The wiring has not been changed, only the socket threads have been modified to accept US candelabra bulbs.
Measurements: H.43"1/2 x Diam.50".
Provenance: Restaurant " Rue Balzac " Paris France.
This restaurant was opened by the famous Chef, Claude Bouillon and the famous French Singer Johnny Hallyday (Sort of an Elvis Presley in France).
