About the Item
A splendid and refined 1950s Oscar Torlasco attributable six-light chandelier for Lumi Milano, Italy, in gilded solid brass, made and finished to a very high standard!
Works both 110-240 volts.
Stunning and absolutely rare the classic shape of its structure, solid and at the same time made light by the solutions adopted for the arms, the central body and so on for all the other elements, down to the smallest detail!
About Lumi:
Founded in Milan in the mid-1940s, Lumi mainly known for Torlasco's designs, over the years also had many other outstanding designers as collaborators, such as Gio Ponti, Nanda Vigo and Matteo Thun.
Roman designer Oscar Torlasco (1934 - 2004) made a name for himself in the 1950s and 1960s designing for various Italian lighting companies such as Esperia, Stilux and Stilkronen.
The chandelier has been completely disassembled for a thorough cleaning with professional products only.
All components have been checked.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Works 110-240 volts. The original wiring has been checked and partially replaced. All the Standard E14 lamp holders are original. The structure has no defects, very slight traces of use compatible with age.
