Mid-Century Modern Brutalist Wrought Iron Chandelier
About the Item
Mid-Century Modern Brutalist Wrought Iron Chandelier is a study in unique forms, with an intriguing double-support in the shape of a heart connecting to two ceiling mounts which prevents spinning. The bobeches rest atop reverse-curved arms, with a subtly scrolled body at the center for visual appeal. Stylistically, brutalism is a strict, modernistic design language that has been said to be an adverse reaction to the architecture of the 1940s, much of which was characterized by a retrospective nostalgia.
