About the Item

Wonderful design and cool looking midcentury ceiling lamp. If you are a collector of rare and great looking midcentury design pieces then this stylish pendant from the 1960s could be perfect for you. This space age inspired design light fixture comes with a combination of colors and materials that is very pleasing to the eye. To us, this is the ideal pendant light for a midcentury (inspired) entry hall or landing. There are several details that are aesthetically beautiful and there is perfect symmetry as well. The original and height adjustable red canopy has suffered a little, but we feel it does not hurt the stunning overall look and feel of this, otherwise very good condition, midcentury work of beauty. The art glass shade in the center is in very good condition as well and when the light is on it creates a warm light and spreads a striking, straight lines pattern on your wall. Unfortunately we don't know the name of the designer, but we have never seen this 1950s or 1960s pendant before and we immediately recognized its potential, because its cool design can be used in many types of midcentury interiors and in certain contemporary ones also. This is another one of those light fixtures that, especially when the light is on, looks much better in real life than in our photos. You can, again, take our word for it. This rare light also is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and thanks to the hook inside the adjustable in height canopy, mounting this light tight to your ceiling will take no more than a few minutes either. Again great value for money. Also, because perfect packing (in a custom made box) and worldwide shipping from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 days are complimentary. Condition:

Wear consistent with age and use. The dented canopy has lost parts of the original red paint, but somehow we don't find that disturbing. We are willing to replace it by a blackened brass one that is height adjustable as well (as in image 19/20). Please also read our item description.
