Monumental Daniel Becker 'Elaine' Copper Spherical Chandelier
About the Item
Monumental Daniel Becker 'Elaine' copper spherical chandelier. Designed by Berlin luminary Daniel Becker, who won the prestigious German Design Award 2019. Comprised of a copper plated aluminum shades with a stainless steel frame and utilizing 180x integrated 5V LEDs (each 0.2W, together 1800lm, 2700K CRI 95).
When turned off, the 'Elaine' is a refined sculptural object with subtle technical detailing referencing heavy metalwork. Turned on, its light sources seem to float in space weightlessly. The proportions of the luminaire have been designed to fit large tables. It fills any space with a pleasing light. The construction of the fixture is reduced to the essential minimum, with the frame structure serving as a safe conduit to power the LEDs without any visible cables.
