The Most Amazing Pair of Early Humphrey Gas Lamps

About the Item

I can't believe we have a matching pair of these amazing and ornate Humphrey lamps. The tops are nickel plated brass with 3 applied Dr. Suess like spiral decorations. The shade is unique with its decorative raised stamped brass outside. The shades underside is a smooth white porcelain to reflect the light. Both clear globes are signed THE HUMPHREY. The lamps have been restored refinished and rewired. They are now each illuminated by four E12 candelabra bulbs. The bottom still has all the character of the original gas lamp including the complex arrangement of burners valves and adjustments. The lamp is 28 inches tall and we will finish them with a brass pipe drop to your length. Sold and priced as a matching pair.
