Pair of Italian Louis XVI St. Ormolu and Crystal Chandeliers
About the Item
An exceptional and handsome pair of Italian Louis XVI st. ormolu and crystal chandeliers. The pair, each with twelve electrified arms, have a central highly chased ormolu band with the face of Bacchus, the Greek god of the grape harvest, winemaking and wine, amidst vines of grapes. The chandeliers are elegantly decorated by garlands of crystals which hang from the top band, which is decorated the same, with top ormolu spray and hanging crystals.
