Timeless alabaster pendant for a smaller room, entry hall or bedroom.
This rare fixture from the heydays of the European Art Deco era could soon be lighting up your days and evenings. Its remarkable, circular and layered shade is all hand carved out of one solid rock of alabaster and for this pendant they clearly picked a beautiful rock for it comes with some unique veins and patches and they clearly polished the surface to perfection making it even more special. This stunning Art Deco pendant is perfectly balanced and the combination of the black and white shade and the blackened chain and canopy makes the overal look and feel even more stylish and appealing. At some point in time a hairline was professionally reinforced on the inside which is why this pendant still is as strong and structurally sound as it was when it was first hand-carved 100 years ago. So much so that it even rings like a bell when you strike it. It must have taken one highly skilled craftsman a whole lot of time to perfectly hand create this remarkable Art Deco shade and the remarkable veins and patches inside this shade could not have been more special. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this stunning light fixture. In real life (or in person) our alabaster lights always have that little bit extra and this remarkable and practical size pendant is no exception. The perfect and adjustable-in-height, solid brass canopy is like the icing on the cake of this timeless pendant. Mind you, this work-of-art-ceiling-light is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable canopy, mounting this light tight to your ceiling is child's play.
