About the Item
A very rare, impressive and sought after rhubarb leaf brass chandelier, designed by Tommaso Barbi, edited by Bottega Gadda, Milano, Italy, 1970s
Made to order for an important staircase, the extra-height of the chandelier can easily be modified, by removing or adding the highest part. The height is either 90cm or 160cm (39,4 inch or 63 inch ). Please have a look at the pictures.
This biomorphic, hand-hammered brass ceiling lamp resembles four rhubarb leaves. The extravagant style and amazing craftsmanship is characteristic for Tommaso Barbi’s work. The lamp is very sculptural and the realism of the leave shows the exquisite craftsmanship of Tommaso Barbi. The leafs beautifully frame the light and therefore, provide a superb light due to the hammered brass surface of the leaves.
