About the Item
Great midcentury Kaiser pendant lamp, Germany, circa 1960s. The chain-hanging height adjustable patinated brass light fixture has three handcrafted textured clear and brown tinted Murano ice glass petals forming a dome shade. The light takes one E27 standard screw bulb to illuminate. Wiring is perfect, so the light is Fine working and ready to use. The good weight light, often wrongly attributed to Kalmar or Mazzega and Carlo Nason, is signed two times with the company label Kaiser and Kaiser Leuchten. The beautiful pendant stays in very good original vintage condition, minor wear consistent with age and use. This piece is made of best materials and is of high quality. The well-known Christian Dell designed several pieces for the Bauhaus which have been executed by Kaiser. It measures, chain length 60 cm / 23.62 inches, total length 108 cm / 42.52 inches, shade width 42 cm / 16.54 inches, body height 34 cm / 13.39 inches. This beauty is an eye-catcher and a perfect addition and upgrade for any Mid-Century Modern or stylish interior.
