Striking Stilnovo nine lights chandelier
About the Item
Stilnovo was created in 1946 and active during 1950s through the early 70's, specializing in lighting and manufacturing a large number of different styles generally produced in very limited numbers as it was common among Italian design manufacturers of the time. Togheter with Arredoluce of Angelo Lelli and Arteluce of Gino Sarfatti was the main contributor to the revolution in Italian lighting design of the 50's. Stilnovo items were designed by Italian designers such as Danilo and Corrado Aroldi, Gaetano Scolari, Alberto Fraser, L Castiglioni and Gae Aulenti. The brand was sold in 1988 to Venini but hasn't been very active.
