1930's Modernist Floor Lamp

About the Item

This Modernist floor lamp was designed and produced by The NAPAKO Company in the 1930s Czechoslovakia. The piece represents perfectly the Modernist approach to furniture design. Its minimalist, functional and elegant; a perfect companion for anyone who likes to read in style. The lamp is fully functional with new wiring installed and is in perfect vintage condition with some minor wear and tear. The chrome is slightly worn (mainly at the base) and the steel lost its gloss finish, but the piece has acquired a great patina instead. The whole lamp has been recently completely refurbished. The lampshade was badly damaged but our craftsmen was able to refurbish it to its former glory by using the original techniques and materials.
