50s French Tripod Floor Lamp With Papercord Shades Attributed To Mathieu Matégot
About the Item
Absolutely beautiful French eye-catcher from 1950s.
This tripod floor lamp is attributed to Mathieu Matégot. The three black lacquered metal tubes are hold together with two gilded rings and in-between paperboard wired. The screw fittings are hidden in aluminum cups lacquered in three differed colors, beige, red and aubergine. Many hours where needed to re-covered with paper cord as well as the paperboard on the tripod is re-covered.
Allover in beautiful condition.
