About the Item
Floor lamp in brass, polished nickel finish. Lamp shade with embroidery and fringes.
This chic and sophisticated floor lamp can be used for reading or just to lighten up a space. It’s called the martini floor lamp because of its shape and for being a favorite drink of the 1930´s in New York.
One of the fabrics used for the shades is a Pierre Frey linen that overlaps traditional Japanese theatre masks in bold colors. Multifaceted forms of cubism reveal a special geometry of Art Deco, which also combines elements of expressionism, prehistoric art, as well as cubism, fauvism and the beginning of abstraction.
The second lamp shade is also a Pierre Frey fabric, a French moiré, elegant and classic.
