About the Item
Escape Transceiver Space is presented in Bangkok Design Week 2023 as a refuge in a world of chaos. It is a sensory space for the mind representing an allegory about protection and calmness, both projecting a feeling conducive to wellbeing, and suspended above the audience, somehow absorbing the weight of the world.
Escape Transceiver Floor Light is developed from the series of five Transceiver Spaces for Gwangju Design Biennale 2017, South Korea. Medium is the silk cocoon, each one a miracle of creativity that has been built as a home and protection for itself by the silk worm. These have been formed into an illuminated canopy where a magical diffusion of light emanates from the centre of each piece.
Escape Transceiver Space is collaboration art piece between Ango and Touchable Bangkok highlights how good it is to have a mini environment that allows us to relax, rest our minds, and spend time with ourselves.
The pouffe by Touchable is created using a woven palette of waste offcut materials to fashion a wonderfully inviting seat, while the canopy overhead by Ango in natural colour silk cocoon casts a warm, soft and protective light.
