Essenza Floor Lamp
About the Item
Essenza is a really functional and minimalist handcraft lamp made with a curved metal tube from the end of which a hangs a spotlight. The light cone can be adjusted by sliding the wire into the frame, choosing the height of the spotlight. The direction can be calibrated through tilting it as you wish.
Entirely hand-welded it's perfect in both modern and traditional environments, it can furnish large spaces and attract attention to it without its losing ornamental strength. It can be hidden and disappear behind a fabric armchair or architectural desk, and only be noticed when light is needed.
Finishes: The spray painting is comprised of acrylic enamel with two components of high opacity. It is applied by hand and dried at low temperatures. The paint type is that of bodywork, with unique aesthetic and tactile features.
From an aesthetic point of view, the paint has deep opacity and almost completely absorbs the light accentuating the perfection of the shapes. To the touch, it is extremely smooth and gives an almost textile feel. It almost seems like you are touching a fabric beneath your fingers.

Marco Ripa
Marco Ripa is a craftsman and designer. Through it he produces unique and bespoke minimal furniture pieces in iron and steel.
Born in 1977, at the age of 15 Marco entered the workshop to learn the craft of an artisan. He chose iron as his signature metal because it’s dirty, noisy and rejects repetition.
His metal takes shape, colour and balance inspired by the American sculpturer Calder. Building on Ruskin's philosophy in the Arts and Crafts Movement Marco believes that a man is as unique and unrepeatable as the objects he makes. At the age of 33 Marco founded his own laboratory for the manufacture of iron and steel.
