Hammered Brass Folk Art Modernist Floor Lamp
About the Item
Amateur craftsman made modernist floor lamp. The lamp is a little arts and crafts, art deco and machine age combined. A great imaginative form, the lamp is made of found brass pieces with solder filling some holes and imperfections. The dish base was hand hammered into shape. The disk may be copper and not brass. The lamp has a slight lean. This takes a three way mogul base bulb. The wiring is new.
