About the Item
Magnificent and scarce floor lamp, designed by Gordon & Jane Martz for Marshall Studios. The elegant design showcases the designer’s mastery of wood details and ceramic forms alike. The substantial ceramic base features an intricate textured decor, with an incised pattern that artfully reveals the natural texture of the stoneware beneath. Beautiful wood accents infuse a warm quality into the design. The lamp also retains the original walnut wood finial. Lamp is in excellent condition, with lovely patina to the wood throughout. Lighting components are in working order. We have added a high-quality custom lampshade made to the original specifications. Acquired together, we have three matching lamps available. USA, 1960s.
