Modern Floor Lamp with Blackened Oak Column Base and Conical Shade
About the Item
The Crux floor lamp combines minimalist forms, top-quality materials, and careful details.
The generous conical shade is supported by a clean column of turned wood, with an exposed section of brass hardware adding an elegant accent between the wood and the fabric shade.
At the floor, the column intersects with an X-shaped foot that echos the column’s cylindrical form. The lamp cord is routed inside the column and foot to maintain a clean, uncluttered appearance.
The single-turn brass socket will accept any standard medium-base bulb (8 to 10W LED suggested). The lamp is wired with a black two-prong SPT-2 cordset.
The wood is treated with a hand-rubbed oil finish. This low-lustre natural finish contains no VOCs and protects the wood without obscuring the look and feel of the material.
The hardback shade has a white interior, rolled edges, and a white or black fabric exterior. The shade has a 20” bottom diameter, 17” top diameter, and is 14” high.
