Pair of Whimsical French Modernist Tripod Floor Lamps
About the Item
Pair of early 1950's French floor lamps identical from the waist down with brass ball tripod legs and feet. Above the shoulders the one on the left is an homage to Pierre Guariche with four radiating arms holding torch lights as well as one as the center finial. The one on the right salutes Jean Roeye with its diamond criss-crossed faux parchment rakish shade. Embellished throughout with brass and lucite fittings.

- Condition:Very good original vintage condition. Rewired. No breaks or repairs. Patina on brass has been left as is but will be polished if requested. Comes with a supply of 60 watt bayonet bulbs (which burn at 30 watts in the USA). Easily available via internet. Ask for a list of suppliers.
